Squalus acutirostris, is a dogfish shark of the family Squalidae, found in the western Pacific Ocean from the South China Sea and off New South Wales, Australia, at depths down to 390 m. They reach up to 60 cm in length.

Squalus acutirostris is a harmless deepwater species with ovoviviparous reproduction.
